Local man Fred Hanz hurried back to his home very excitedly late Monday, bringing with him a quarter he had found on his evening walk.

When he got home, he was shocked to find LNG Canada has announced a positive decision on their project.

“Here I was with the best news of my life and suddenly this joint venture partnership had to completely overshadow my achievement,” said Hanz. “What kind of community neighbour would do that? It completely deflated my good mood.”

The LNG Canada project is estimated to cost approximately $40 billion.

“How many quarters is that?” added Hanz. “They’re really just showing off at this point. I just think they don’t even like me if this is how they’re going to act.”
