The District of Kitimat has played softball with the snow for far too long and have finally taken the crucial step of equipping their snow clearing machinery with industrial grade flamethrowers.

With another light snowfall overnight, the community is now putting itself on the offensive as it’s already February 23rd already, that’s enough!

Meanwhile the town’s five year financial plan has allowances to install heat lamps on light posts to also cut down on dealing with all of this snow all of the time.

The town meanwhile emphasizes that the flamethrowers are necessary and they will not be liable for any fire damage as a result, and to please not approach the machines to fast cook your hot dogs.
