Kitimat Public Library excited to offer new $59.99 Platinum library card

The Kitimat Public library is excited to now offer a subscription-based Platinum library card.

At just $59.99 a month, this new card offers a wealth of new features not available on their basic, no-cost plan.

The headlining feature is access to their VIP lounge in that upstairs area above their front counter, which includes a concierge service, two complementary drinks, and nap pods. A weekend DJ is also scheduled through the summer.

Additionally, subscribers will now never be victim to books on hold. If you want a catalogue item which is currently checked out, you can now look up the address of the person who has it and go to them to take it in person.

“Just flash your Platinum Library Card and our basic-plan clients are obligated to provide you their library catalogue item immediately,” reads a news release from the Kitimat library.

For an additional $35, Platinum card holders are also free from adhering to respectable noise levels, and are welcome to do a number of activities inside the library, from band practice to simply storing all the crows you own.
