“Finally something to do in Kitimat,” says teen who doesn’t enjoy swimming, camping, reading, hiking, eating

With the arrival today of the West Coast Amusements carnival, a local teen is feeling great relief that there’s something to do in Kitimat.

Connor Bernard consistently bemoans that there is little to do in Kitimat.

“I’m not a fan of the library, or the pool, or camping, or hiking the trails, or fishing, or hanging out in restaurants,” said Bernard. “Once you dismiss those things there’s hardly anything to do in Kitimat.”

Bernard also doesn’t count the shows from the Kitimat Concert Association, or film showings at the Eagle Centre.

“But the carnival? Finally for one night of the year there’s something good to do,” he said.
