Kitimat residents were unfazed by a real estate listing’s boast of a home being in a “quiet neighbourhood.”

Residents were quick to point out all of Kitimat’s neighbourhoods are.

“Yeah, we thought it was this really big thing,” said Daniel Gregory, who moved to Kitimat with his family and was drawn to the boast of a quiet neighbourhood. “But we went out walking one night and, yeah, it’s all quiet. Where’s the noise?”

Surveyers of Kitimat have confirmed that the entire community is among the ‘quietest’ they’ve ever seen.

Except of course for Currie Street, which has claimed the title for being Kitimat’s “party street” three years running.
